Starting from Polour Village, participants explore pristine valleys like Angemar, Lasem, and Parvaneh for acclimatization. The ascent continues to Bargah-e Sevom shelter (4,200 m), followed by a sunrise summit attempt and an exhilarating 2,000 m ski descent. The journey ends with a relaxing soak in the Rineh hot springs.

Itinerary

Arrival in Polour (2,400 m)
Pick-up in Tehran (~65 km drive).
Settle into guesthouse, gear check, and preparation.
Overnight: Polour guesthouse / local homestay

 

Ski Touring in Angemar Valley
Warm-up ski tour in the Angemar area (3,000–3,800 m).
Full-day climb & descent in untouched snowfields.
Overnight: Polour guesthouse

 

Ski Touring in Lasem or Parvaneh Valley
Second acclimatization ski day in either Lasem or Parvaneh Valley (depending on snow & conditions).
Enjoy ridge-line views and long ski descents.
Overnight: Polour guesthouse

Transfer to Damavand Base – Climb to Bargah-e Sevom (4,200 m)
4WD transfer to Gusfandsara (3,200 m), followed by 5–6 hrs ascent to the shelter.
Overnight: Bargah-e Sevom shelter or high camp

Acclimatization & Practice Ski
Active rest day with ski runs on surrounding slopes.
Great for altitude adjustment and technical training.
Overnight: Bargah-e Sevom shelter or high camp

Summit Day – Damavand (5,610 m) + Ski Descent & Hot Springs
Early morning summit push (6–7 hrs) followed by a thrilling ski descent to Gusfandsara.
Return to Polour and relax in Rineh hot springs.
Overnight: Polour guesthouse / local homestay

Return to Tehran
Breakfast in Polour, then 2-hour transfer to Tehran.
Optional cultural sightseeing before departure.
