Over three days, we’ll explore pristine slopes between 2,000 and 3,700 meters above sea level, where fresh powder and wide-open descents make Taleqan a hidden gem for ski touring enthusiasts. Whether you’re an experienced backcountry skier or an adventurous freerider looking for new lines, this trip will challenge and inspire you at every turn.
Each day begins with peaceful ascents on touring skins, followed by long, flowing descents through untouched snow. The terrain varies from mellow bowls to steeper alpine faces — ideal for a true freeride tour experience. Itinerary
Arrival & First Lines in Taleqan
After arrival and a short briefing on avalanche safety and gear check, we set off for our first day of backcountry skiing in Taleqan. We’ll tour moderate slopes to warm up, gaining around 800–1,000 meters of elevation. The day ends with smooth powder runs and stunning views of the Alborz peaks.
Deep into the Taleqan Backcountry
Today we venture farther into the mountains to find the region’s best snow and terrain. Depending on conditions, we may reach elevations up to 3,700 meters, where vast powder fields and untouched lines await. Your IFMGA guides will design the route to match the group’s skill level and ensure maximum safety and enjoyment on this epic freeride tour day.
The Grand Finale
On the final day, we explore a new valley or summit for one last unforgettable descent. Expect long runs through open bowls and pristine snow with incredible panoramic views before returning to base. The adventure ends with a relaxed debrief, celebrating three days of world-class Taleghan ski touring and memories that will last a lifetime.
