Accommodation: Hotels in cities (Islamabad, Gilgit, Karimabad), and two-person tents at the Gappa base camp

Note: In case of unfavorable weather or snow conditions, the itinerary may be modified for safety reasons or adapted to alpine-style skiing near Gilgit.

Pakistan Ski Touring Itinerary

• Day 12: 2026: Descent on foot, then drive along the Karakoram Highway to Karimabad–Duikar. Overnight stay at Eagle Nest Hotel.
• Day 13: 2026: Visit to Altit and Baltit Forts, then drive back to Gilgit (hotel accommodation)
• Day 14: 2026: Drive to Islamabad
• Day 15: 2026: Free day in Islamabad
• Day 16: 2026: Departure from Islamabad, return home

Services Included

• Accommodation in double rooms, hotel meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and mineral water during meals
• One-way flight from Islamabad to Skardu and return by road from Gilgit to Islamabad
• Ground transportation (13-seat Grand Cabin) from Islamabad airport to Gilgit and the Gappa Valley, and back to Islamabad
• 7 or 8 days of skiing (depending on weather and conditions)
• Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) at the base camp
• Sleeping tents (two-person tents), dining tent, mattresses, chairs, and tables for the base camp
• Cook service
• Kitchen equipment (stove, fuel, utensils, etc.)
• Small solar power setup at the base camp
• Visa authorization letter and other required documents for obtaining a Pakistani visa (if needed)
• Porter wages for carrying up to 40 kg of personal luggage per person on the way up to base camp, and 25 kg per person on the way down. Any extra weight will be charged separately.
